Welcome

On behalf of the children, staff and governors may I welcome you and your family to our school. This web site will give you comprehensive information about our aims, organisation and activities and convey something of the excitement and diversity of life at Kingsbridge Community Primary School.

We all strive to create a calm, well ordered working environment, very clearly focused on quality teaching and learning. All the adults in our team make vital contributions to the smooth and effective running of the school and to making sure we provide quality care and education for the children.

We are lucky enough to have beautiful surroundings and some wonderful buildings, but ultimately the real strength of Kingsbridge Community Primary School rests with the people who work here. The team is a strong one, relationships are excellent and all the staff are happy and hard working. The children are well motivated and the parents very supportive.

Above all, it is our collective aim to provide a happy, safe and caring environment for everyone who works here. We value EVERY child and encourage them to achieve his/her very best. And to parents I would simply say "We should work together to ensure your children love coming to school at the beginning of every day, and leave happily fulfilled at the end of it."
